The Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Lagos State Council under the leadership of Mr. Adeleye Ajayi, is channeling a lot of efforts in the area of capacity building for members.

As part of the Council’s commitment towards equipping Lagos journalists with the necessary skills to help them discharge their duties professionally, the Union is organising a 3-day workshop on Video Editing courtesy American Corner.

According to a statement, Ajayi noted that training and retraining of Journalists was key to the success of the profession.

Ajayi described Lagos State as the Centre of Journalism in Nigeria, and as such, its members must be seen to be working the talk.

The Chairman urged members shortlisted for the training from their respective chapels to key into this opportunity, in order to enrich their knowledge in video editing.

The statement which was signed by Mr. Tunde Olalere, Secretary, NUJ Lagos State Council, noted that the event would hold from Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th March, 2023 at the training hall of American Corner in the Ikeja axis of Lagos State.
